Customer review – Thame Thatch

Describe how hamsterlips helped you and the work undertaken

To start with I needed a brand look including colours and a logo so we developed that first. After the initial consultation I was also given some options. I decide to have a website built that I could maintain myself but I needed some initial training on how to change the text, add images and some basic SEO tips. We set up the website, enquiry form and business email address. We also looked at past lead generation and decided to focus more on the Instagram account and direct mail and worry less about the advertising budget. I was given some training on how to increase the reach of my posts I also got some printed material created using the new brand to match the website.

In summary, hamsterlips gave me:

  • Ideas for a company name – a few different options to pick from
  • A logo and branding
  • Design for flyers and business cards
  • Creation/completion of a website including a gallery
  • Set up of Google Analytics
  • Training on how to update the website myself including SEO tips
  • Direction on marketing such as setting up social media accounts, Google Business Listing, getting reviews and taking photos of work to add to the website
  • Adwords set up and management
  • Company branded clothing

What excited you most about working on your marketing?

Developing the brand and seeing that come together on the website and with the printed material. I also liked learning how to update and maintain the website myself, as well as getting advice and practical help. My lead numbers are going up, I’m more aware of where my leads are coming from, I spend less on advertising and I know how to use Google Analytics

What’s next for your marketing?

Now I know a bit about SEO and I’ve seen how popular my pictures are on Google and social media I already want to make updates to the website and add a blog.
